Gentry Adams, President

Gentry is a Florida native who has called St Pete home for the past 6 years. She is a proud Florida Gator who can usually be found “chomping” or cheering on her boys in orange & blue.  In her spare time, she is a jewelry buyer at HSN by day and a fashion blogger on her blog "Girl Meets Bow" by night.

In between, her passion is volunteering and giving back and she actively serves with the Junior League of St Petersburg and her church. Gentry is humbled and so excited be President-elect this year and is looking forward to expanding PBF's reach and legacy as we move into our third active year!   When you join us at our Fall Event you will see her bust a move on the dance floor!

Megan Roach , President Elect

How many people can claim to be a St. Petersburg native?  Megan can and is one and is proud of it.

A Floridian at heart, she is a graduate of the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law.  Megan has a giving heart, spending most of her free time volunteering with various organizations throughout the community. How lucky for us that we are one of those organizations!  And…in addition to American red wine and her perfect pup, Max, she loves Robert’s Rules of Order!

Kevin Tapp, Treasurer

Kevin is a life long friend of Patrick, sharing adventures from the moment they were born.

Whether they were playing street hockey, basketball, or just having fun, Kevin always had a smile on his face.  Kevin is a force to be reckoned with:  Strong, silent, principled, and wise.  We are thrilled to have him on our board.

Christine Tapp, Secretary

Just when you thought the Tapp family couldn’t get any better, they add Christine to the mix.

What a blessing she is to their family, what a blessing she is to our board.  She brings her sweet disposition, amazing organization, and steadfast dependability to the table.

Greg Helck, Scholarship Chair

Greg is committed to helping individuals achieve their financial goals as a financial planner at North Shore Wealth Management of Raymond James by day.

He is also committed to education and the Patrick Brett Foundation.  With compassion he has helped us select our Fresh Start recipients and is committed to helping them achieve their personal educational goals.

Nick Hess, Assistant Scholarship Chair

This Florida Gator was born and raised in St. Petersburg. Together with his schooling, Nick attributes his youth athletics with providing him the character skills need to succeed in all aspects of life.

He currently serves as a Wealth Management Advisor for Fifth Third Bank, caring for others financial needs. Recently married, both he and his bride, Colleen, are Founding Friends of the Patrick Brett Foundation.  We are blessed to this talented, compassionate, gentleman on our board.

Noah Cumby, Founding Friends Co-Chair

Noah’s reputation precedes him, he is a friend to all.  We love the gifts that Noah shares with us: humor, attention to detail, compassion, and dedication.  He is the gift that keeps on giving.

Jenny Putrino, Founding Friends Co-Chair

Jenny is a realtor in St. Petersburg for Premier Sotheby’s and it’s been said she could sell an igloo to an Eskimo.

She loves  to cook (but hates to bake) and has hopes to one day write a cookbook. Her love for her family, the beach, Amelia Island, live music, red wine and walking her dogs down by the water is fierce. But her current fave and love of her life is her brand new nephew, Kooper.  Welcome to the board, Jenny.

Taylor LaBuda, Social Chair

Many people are blessed to have a great broker in their lives, but few can boast that they have a chicken broker, too!

The Patrick Brett Foundation is proud to have Taylor, our favorite chicken broker, on our board. Taylor is full of life, smiles, and energy. She brings joy and laughter to each person she meets. She is talented and hard working, and her claim to fame is she once ate 4 El-Cap Cheeseburgers in one sitting! That's not chicken feed, and that certainly is something to "sqwak" about!

Madeline McCarthy, Member at Large

Patrick was a dear friend to Madeline, sharing many years of his short life with her.

Madz, as she is affectionately called, carries her love of Patrick to the board, eagerly serving in any capacity asked of her.  Multi-talented, we are thrilled to use all of her many talents.

Katie Gilson, Member at Large

Humorous, humble and self-deprecating best describe our fearless President, Katie.  This middle school administrator brings with her a great work ethic too.  She is a leader, she is dedicated, and she is gooooooood.

Lauren Feaster, Co-Chair Birthday Bash

Lane is a native St. Petersburger and Gator girl who was recently drawn back home after spending the last 10 years between NYC, Atlanta, and Dallas.

She and Patrick spent many high school days playing beach volleyball and sipping Slurpees during the hot summers. She’s excited to be back and town and have the opportunity to serve on the PBF board!
